Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. She appeared in many commercials in her early years. Then, in November 1999 Anna moved to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually shifting to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. Anna had changed her religion to Judaism and the couple married in Fredericton. Bo's same-sex relationship and Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was highlighted in the list of CNN's all-time favorite Television Couples and named the Top TV Couple of 2013, by E!
