Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiWith his third untitled album close to completion, Ky-mani is certainly a major star on his own. Ky-mani Marley was born Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend, and Jamaican champion of table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African words for Ky-mani translate to adventurer. Being an East African man, his albums and travels represent an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey began in 1999. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles who was seeking his niche in music. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae release. The album brought out a mature Kymani. Many More Roads and The Journey received a great reception across the globe. This established Ky-Mani's standing as an independent musician. Ky-Mani is a mix of roots reggae hip hop, R&B as well as contemporary jazz, to create his sound.
