 Cole managed to secure an audition on Summerland after visiting her mother Deborah Quinn (and her stepfather Shawn Christian), who are her parents and the father of her halfbrother Kameron Christian. Cole won the role as Erika Spalding. She then relocated to Los Angeles to film. She was in an episode that aired on CBS as NUMB3RS as Bianca. In April Fool's Day, she played the role of Desiree in her horror remake. Cole had a part in the movie 12 Rounds, produced by WWE Films and starring John Cena.In December 2008, Cole appeared as Private Rachel Mills in the Heroes webisode series The Recruit, and subsequently was added to the main show as a regular actor playing the same character as at the beginning of 2009. She also played a role in The Violent Kind alongside Tiffany Shepis. She played "Hot Neighbor" in the short-lived TV show Secret Girlfriend in 2009.In April 2010, she guest-starred in the NCIS episode "Guilty Pleasure" as DC accompanying Charlotte Cook. From September of 2010 until May 2011, she starred in The Event as Vicky Roberts the assassin of a covert group.In October of 2011 she was in the music video for The Walk by Mayer Hawthorne. She was also cast as a character in CSI: Miami as Samantha Owens (a laboratory technician) in November 2011. She played Jennifer Starke on The Glades on A&E in 2012.
